Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue the book of 1st Corinthians with Chapter 10 and in our text we see Paul addressing the Church at Corinth to avoid idol worship. He goes on to explain that when facing temptation the Lord will make a way of escape and challenges us to so all for the Glory of God. In making application we see that we do not have to yield when we face temptation but rather look for a way of escape. Today the enemy uses the same tactics he has used for centuries but you can overcome the temptation, not sin, and do all for the Glory of God. How about you? Do you see that you don't have yield to temptation? Let us learn from our text today and the reminder of Paul the the Lord gives us a way of escape when we face temptation so let us look for this way out, so we will not sin, and can live in victory doing all for the Glory of God.
