Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the book of 1st Timothy with Chapter 6 and in our text we see Paul's final instruction for Timothy in this letter to avoid petty disputes and longing to be rich. Our life should be as verse 6 which says Godliness with contentment is great gain. How about you? Are you Content? Let us learn from our text today and the reminder of Paul that we should overlook minor issues and disputes of lives and the chase for riches for our lives on earth are as a vapor so let us focus on our Lord and His Will for our lives and be content with where the Lord places you to serve.
