Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the book of 2nd Timothy with Chapter 2 and in our text we see Paul comparing the believer to be a good solider and good worker as to be not ashamed, not afraid of opposition. He says we can be good vessels used for honor or bad vessels for dishonor and that we have have a responsibility as believers to study and obey the Word of God directed by His Spirit. How about you? Are you a vessel of honor? Let us learn from our text today and the reminder of Paul that we are to be good workers equipped from the Word of God to follow the Spirit of God - so that we will be vessels of honor, fit for the masters use, prepared for unto every good work.
