Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we Continue in the book of Revelation with Chapter 12 and in today's text we see The 7th trumpet in Revelation 11:15 that ushers in the vial judgements in chapter 15 but in the intervening chapters of 12-14, John sees to conflict between God and Satan. He sees the source of all sin, evil, persecution, and suffering on the Earth. John sees and records the great battle between the forces of God and Satan that are taking place. In making application my attention is focused on verse 11 when evil is overcome by the blood of the lamb. At the end of Earth it is still the Blood of Christ that overcomes evil. It is that blood that still saves the sinner when it is applied by faith to our sin debt. There is movement in some Churches to remove the preaching on the Blood saying it has lost place and is too gruesome, or even some call it a slaughterhouse religion and that it has lost its place in the modern day Church. As we can see in our text today that at the end of time on Earth it is still the Blood that has power. Have you experienced salvation through the Blood of Jesus? If so, do you recognize that it is the Blood of Christ that continually cleanses us from our sin? It is the Blood that gives us victory. Let us continue to preach, sing, claim, and exalt the Blood of Christ for there is truly, "Power in the Blood"
