Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we Continue in the book of Revelation with Chapter 20 and in today's text we see the Millennial reign, the destruction of Satan, and the final judgement. In making application my attention is drawn to verse 15 which says that whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. This "whosoever" is the same that could have called upon the name of the Lord and be saved but unfortunately they rejected Christ so the "whosoever will" becomes the "whosoever was not". How sad. It reminds me of a sporting event where the losing team misses the final shot and you see the disappointment of the losing team but this is no game. This is eternity. How about you? Have you been convicted of the Holy Spirit but rejected His calling to be saved? If so call out to Him now - repent - and receive the Lord Jesus.
