Each day we walk through the Bible
chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord.
Many applications can be made from
each day's text. Today we continue the
book of 1st Corinthians with Chapter
5 and in our text we see Paul addressing
sin in the Church and failure of the
Church in Corinth to acknowledge
and deal with sin affects the whole
Church. In making application we
are the Love the sinner but hate the
sin. We must acknowledge and deal
with open sin according to the Bible
or the body will be infected. Today, the
Church and body of Christ fail to acknowledge sin which has resulted in the Church losing its power and influence in the community. How about you? Do you acknowledge and deal with the sin in your life? Let us learn from our text today and the and the instruction of Paul to see that we must deal with sin both in our lives and in the body to see the power of God in our Churches.
