Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the book of Philippians with Chapter 3 and in our text we see continuing with the theme of Joy and how we are to have joy in believing in Christ. This truth should cause us to forget the past to press toward the mark of this high calling of our Lord. In making application we should see the reality of our life as God is in control, nothing compares to Him, He will meet our needs, so we should focus on the reality of the Christian life. Let us learn from our text today and the reminder of Paul that we should have joy in believing in our Lord since our life now has a focus giving us direction to press toward the mark of our calling in Jesus-Christ.
