Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we start the book of Colossians with Chapter 1 and in our text we see Paul's letter to the Church in Colosse from a Roman jail as he prays for the Church, their work, and his concern for them explaining how Christ is sufficient for all they need. In making application this truth still holds true today. Jesus-Christ is all we need to sustain us in this lost world as He now lives in us and will never leave us or forsake us. This truth should allow us to live above our circumstances, do His will, and erase any fear of the enemy who is a liar. How about you? Do you see that Jesus is all we need? Let us learn from our text today and the reminder of Paul that Jesus is all we need as He is our salvation, our protector, our provider, our sustainer , and simply our all in all - in Him we can do all things.
