My 1 Year Revival 🔥 Lesson 19
Lesson 19: Be Tactical (Plan) 🎯🪖 (Use Proven Weapons)
Texts: 1 Samuel 17; 2 Corinthians 10:3–6; Nehemiah 4:7–18
Principle: God’s victories come through Spirit-led strategy using proved tools.
Precept: Refuse Saul’s armor; use what God has proved in your hands.
Cohesive Overview:
David faced a giant with a shepherd’s kit. He declined Saul’s untested armor and selected five smooth stones—not because he lacked faith, but because he had wisdom. He had fought lions and bears; God had proved Himself. Strategy matters: identify the giant, choose God’s weapon, and run toward the battle in the Lord’s name. The goal is not theatrics but testimony—“that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.” 🌍
Spiritual tactics reject carnal methods. We don’t wage war with the flesh but with mighty weapons that pull down strongholds—truth, righteousness, gospel readiness, faith, salvation, the Word, and prevailing prayer (Eph 6; 2 Cor 10). Like Nehemiah’s crew, we build with one hand and hold a weapon with the other—watchful and working. Plan your fight: time, place, Scripture, accountability. Giants fall to aimed stones. 🪨
Keys (🗝️):
Proving 🧪 — Use tools God has already blessed.
Precision 🎯 — Name the giant; pick a verse.
Pace 🏃 — Run toward, not from, the fight.
Partnership 🤝 — Team tactics (church, mentors, intercessors).
Praise 🥁 — Credit God for the win.
Practice (🛠️):
Write a battle plan for one giant: (1) Scripture, (2) daily habit, (3) ally, (4) metric.
Replace one carnal tactic (avoidance, venting) with a spiritual one (fasting, confession).
Testify after the next “stone” lands.
Declaration (🎯):
“I will fight with proved weapons, Spirit strategy, and God’s glory in view.”
